Main deck

 

The main air conditioned briefing area and lounge area, with a coffee / tea table offering you coffee/tea and drinking water 24 hours a day. It also has a wide flat screen TV and Full HD Media Player.

Outside of the lounge area there is another sitting area in the shade with comfortable cushions.

Furthermore the main deck has

• two comfortable junior single suites
• a galley
• dive equipment room
• luggage storage room
• camera room with good lighting and camera table
• wine storage and linen storage
• common toilet
• office
• outside sitting area

Upper deck

 

From the outside as well as from the inside a staircase will lead you to the upper deck.

There you will find

• Open air restaurant
• Bar
• 4 junior suites
• Bridge area

Sun Deck

From the upper deck restaurant area a staircase will lead you to the sun deck. On the sun deck you will find plenty of sunbeds and a shaded sitting area, which is also excellent for having your sunset drinks.

Single suite

The two single suites cabins (Eagle ray and Manta ray), located on the main deck have queen size beds (150 x 200 cm) and desk, TV connected to central media system, hanging closet, large windows, private ensuite bathroom and shower.

Standard

A total of 6 standard cabins (Turtle, Dolphin, Barracuda, Octopus, Frog fish and Napoleon) are located on the cabin deck below the main deck. 4 cabins (Turtle, Dolphin, Barracuda and Napoleon) have one queen size bed and a single bed and the two front cabins (Frog fish and Octopus) have two single beds. All cabins have a smart TV connected to central media system, desk, private ensuite bathrooms with showers. All standard cabins have portholes.

Dive Team

Head of your dive team on the Carpe Novo is local Dive instructor “Zinah”. He has been been with Carpe Diem Maldives for 5 years and has logged an extensive amount of dives throughout Maldives. He is a firm believer that the live-aboard experience is the best option for a diving holiday in the Maldives. He uses his experience; considering the weather and migration patterns of aquatic species and under water visibility, to tailor diving programs that are sure to yield  sightings of the most exotic and rare species. He is assisted by local dive masters Farish and  Ibbe who also speak fluent English. With this abundance of experience, knowledge of the local dive sites and conditions your safety and comfort will be guaranteed. Their challenge will be to make your dive experience with the Carpe Novo truly memorable!

Our Sri Lankan Chef Cook “Iresh” is a well experienced chef and has been with the company for years. He knows how to make those buffets special, extra tasty and of high standard. He is assisted by a local chef to add some local flavor to the menu. The menu covers a wide range of different international cuisines blended together for you to enjoy. With prior notice, special dietary requests can be catered for as well as any special occasion packages like birthday celebrations, anniversaries to name a few.
