Main deck

AC acclimatised lounge/restaurant area, with a coffee / tea /buffet table offering you coffee/tea throughout the day. It also has a wide flat screen TV, DVD/MP3 player, in house sound system, library and comfortable sitting area with plug points for laptop use.

Outside in front of the lounge area there is another sitting area in the shade with comfortable cushions, where you could have your afternoon tea while cruising and taking in the beautiful colours of the Indian Ocean.

Upper deck

From the outside as well as from the inside a staircase will lead you to the upper deck and bridge area with

• Bridge area with sofa seating area to accompany the captain while driving the boat
• Outside shaded sitting area in front of the bridge with fabulous view
• Our beautiful and very spacious two VIP Suite rooms.
• Main open air dining area and bar where you will be served semi buffet meals prepared by our fine dining chef while enjoying our fine selection of (non) alcoholic beverages.

Sun Deck

From the dining area a staircase ultimately leads you to a spacious sun deck, which is partially shaded and has a Jacuzzi and a sitting area in the middle and some lounge chairs to catch that nice tan.

Superior

    

The two superior cabins (nos. 3 and 4), located on the main deck have king size beds which can be separated in two super single beds and desk/chair/dresser, hanging closet, large windows, private ensuite bathroom and shower cubicle.

Standard

    

A total of 6 standard cabins, nos. 5 – 10 are located on the cabin deck below the main deck. All cabins have one queen size bed and a super single bed, desk/chair, dresser, private ensuite bathrooms with showers. All standard cabins have portholes.

Captain

In charge of your safety and well being on board of the Carpe Vita is Captain “Adam”. A captain with a total of 15 years experience in being in charge of running liveaboards and who knows how to navigate the Maldivian waters by heart. His passion is fishing and he will be fishing during the trips to catch fresh fish for the guests.

Dive Team

Head of your dive team on the Carpe Vita is local Dive instructor “Chakku”. He is a firm believer that the live-aboard experience is the best option for a diving holiday in the Maldives. He uses his experience; considering the weather and migration patterns of aquatic species and under water visibility, to tailor diving programs that are sure to yield  sightings of the most exotic and rare species. He is assisted by local dive instructor “Shaifaan”, asst. Instructor “Ibbe” local dive master “Naathi”. They all speak fluent English. Some of them have been in the industry for many many years. With this abundance of experience, knowledge of the local dive sites and conditions your safety and comfort will be guaranteed. Their challenge will be to make your dive experience with the Carpe Vita truly memorable!

Chef Cook

Our Sri Lankan Chef Cook “Kelum” is a well experienced chef, who has worked on liveaboards for more than 8 years. He knows how to make those buffets special, extra tasty and of high standard. He is assisted by a local chef to add some local flavour as well. The menu will cover a wide range of different international cuisines blended together for you to enjoy. Menus on board of the Carpe Vita are not fixed and the Chef Cook is flexible when catering for different palates of different nationalities.

Special dietary requests can be catered for with prior notice as well as any special occasion packages like birthday celebrations, anniversaries to name a few.
